In response to an incredible outpouring of interest in rocket racing and newsletter requests, we have developed this newsletter for YOU, our FANS!
This e-mail contains the very first issue of X-Racer, the official newsletter of the Rocket Racing LeagueŽ which will be sent out quarterly. You can also access X-Racer by going to the League website at www.rocketracingleague.com
You already know what the Rocket Racing LeagueŽ is about, so this first issue of X-Racer will give you an overview of the current status of RRL™. Topics include:
- The first official RRL Race team

Coming in the next issue of X-Racer:

The Rocket Racing LeagueŽ has announced that it will make its national headquarters in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The city is donating land for a 50,000 sq. ft. building, and the Las Cruces International Airport will build ten hangars for RRL™ teams, as well as a separate taxi-way.

With the organization in place and the hardware under development, the Rocket Racing LeagueŽ has issued a 'Request for Proposal' from both prospective teams and venues. Plans call for ten or more teams and half a dozen venues, with written proposals due by May 31. Find out here how to apply.

The Rocket Racing LeagueŽ will be on display at two major venues in the coming months; as part of the Velocity Aircraft exhibit at the annual Sun 'n Fun Fly-In in Florida, and as part of the SpaceShipOne exhibit at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in New York.
